Recipes Overview

Slashbin Recipes

Each recipe is a complete walkthrough for one provider: point the provider at your receiver endpoint, verify its signature, shape the payload into your Golden Model, and deliver it with retries and replay. Start with the provider you already use — or the Generic recipe if yours is not listed.

New to Slashbin? Read Getting Started first — it is the 15-minute tour these recipes assume.

Shopify

  • Turn webhooks into clean JSON — Turn Shopify's 500+ field payloads into clean, validated JSON with the visual Golden Model builder.
  • Replay missed webhooks — Re-run stored Shopify webhooks through your latest model to recover from outages and backfill new destinations.

Stripe

  • Retry failed webhooks — Stop losing Stripe events when your endpoint is down: receive, back off, retry, replay.
  • Webhook did nothing — Debug from stored evidence — every payload, transform result, attempt and response code — instead of re-firing test events.
  • Flatten webhook payloads — Flatten nested Stripe payloads into validated JSON with safe decimal casting.

Other providers

  • Square: Find your webhook signature key — It is in the Developer Console under your application → Webhooks → Subscriptions. Square signs the notification URL plus the body, not the body alone — the reason most Square signature checks fail.
  • GitHub: Debug a failed delivery — Store every push, PR and workflow event with its payload and delivery attempts, instead of a bare 500.
  • Typeform: Stop losing submissions — Verify the signature, reshape the answer payload, and deliver each submission to your CRM or warehouse.
  • LinkedIn: Webhooks not arriving — LinkedIn nests the event type at data.type; route on the wrong path and you get silence that looks like no events.
  • QuickBooks: Set up webhooks — A CloudEvents array, a Verifier Token, and several companies batched into one request — all configuration, not parsing code.
  • VideoAsk: Send responses to Klaviyo — VideoAsk verifies with a shared header token, not an HMAC, and Klaviyo receives your transformed payload verbatim.
  • Generic: Receive from any provider — Not every provider is on our list, and none of them need to be. Same retries, replay and delivery log for any webhook.
